In this document, we discussed image licenses and the importance of understanding them when using images for personal or commercial use. We also explored different types of image licenses and their respective restrictions.
Introduction
Images are an important aspect of content creation, whether it’s for a blog post, social media post, or website design. They help to make our content more visually appealing and engaging. However, not all images are free to use, and using them without proper permission or understanding of their license can lead to legal consequences. This is where image licenses come into play.
What is an Image License?
An image license is a set of rules and guidelines that dictate how an image can be used by others. They are typically created by the owner or creator of the image and outline the specific conditions under which the image can be used. These licenses exist to protect the rights of creators and ensure that their work is used in a way that they deem appropriate.
